Job description

Superpower is building the future of preventative health. We help people unlock peak performance and longevity—and we’re working to put an AI doctor in every person’s pocket. We have product-market fit, are growing fast, and are ~12 months from $100M revenue and a $1B valuation. This is a critical inflection point—scaling beyond the founding team into a world-class engineering organization. Our team is made up of over a dozen former venture backed founders, 5 technical Y Combinator alumni, and a Thiel Fellow – extremely high horsepower, mission-obsessed, and operating at the edge of speed and ambition.

The Role

In this role, you own Superpower's financial operations and strategy as one connected system, not a back-office reporting function. Payroll, AP/AR, financial planning, and board/investor reporting are built to scale with the business, not just keep pace with it. Every process you build is designed to stay tight as headcount, revenue, and complexity grow. You work hands-on. You build the financial models, and turn raw data into the insights that shape company decisions on where to invest capital and resources. You operate directly alongside Operations, Product, Growth, and the executive team - embedded in the work, not reviewing it after the fact.

What You'll Do

Provide strategic direction to Growth, Operations, and Engineering

  • Partner directly with executives on building out Superpower's financial operations function
  • Own financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
  • Bring a business-minded lens to financial data — ensuring every decision ties back to growth and sustainability

Drive financial analytics and reporting

  • Analyze cost of labor, COGS, and other key financial drivers
  • Turn financial data into insights that inform operational and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with executives to prepare board and investor materials

Build the finance machine

  • Run payroll end-to-end, including contractor and FTE payments, using tools like Deel to streamline domestic and international payroll
  • Manage and improve AP/AR processes for a combined B2C/B2B environment
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement better systems to ensure timely payments and collections as the company scales

About Superpower
