Job description

At Midas, we are working on real-life user needs to transform the world of finance. We’ve transformed investing in Turkey by delivering a seamless experience for everyday investors. Today, 4 million users invest with Midas. Backed by an $80M Series B, the largest fintech investment ever in Turkey, we are scaling faster than ever.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage a detailed social media content calendar that aligns with the company's marketing and communication strategies
  • Oversee daily activities across all social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence
  • Curate and plan engaging content in various formats, including text, images, and videos, customized for different social media channels
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns and content strategies
  • Work in close collaboration with the marketing, design, and other relevant departments to ensure that social media strategies are integrated and aligned with overall marketing objectives

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven expertise in social media management and good track record of successfully growing social media accounts through innovative and data-driven strategies
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Solid understanding of crypto market
  • Strong content creation and writing skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive strategy.
  • Creative and innovative in developing original content and ideas.

Why work at Midas

  • Culture: Described as a fast-growing fintech with a flat hierarchy and a focus on ownership. However, Glassdoor-style ratings are low (2.0/5.0 based on 3 reviews) – take with caution. The large number of ex-employees from top Turkish tech companies (Trendyol, Getir, Papara) suggests a competitive talent environment.
  • Remote/Hybrid Policy: Not explicitly stated, but offices in Istanbul (Uskudar and Üsküdar). Likely hybrid given the tech-heavy workforce.
  • Engineering Culture: Strong emphasis on modern tools (Kubernetes, GitOps, observability stack). Engineering makes up ~43% of the workforce (149 out of 350). Active hiring for senior and lead engineering roles.
  • Perks: Not detailed, but as a well-funded Series B company, likely offers competitive compensation (4.0/5.0 compensation rating) and equity.
