The Mechanical Development team designs the drives, structural parts, and peripherals of our robots. From first concept to manufacturing-ready drawing, this is where lightweight, precise, and series-ready components come to life.
Your mission & challenges
You are responsible for selecting, specifying, and integrating electrical and electronic components – from sensors and connectors to power electronics.
- Specifying and selecting E/E components (sensors, connectors, motors, brakes, encoders)
- Creating component requirement specifications and qualification plans
- Evaluating suppliers and samples together with procurement and SQE
- Integrating components into installation space, power network, and manufacturing concept
- Overseeing component testing and approvals
What we're looking for
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable
- Experience selecting and qualifying E/E components
- Knowledge of component testing, environmental testing, and reliability
- Experience in supplier communication is a plus
- Careful way of working with strong documentation discipline
