The Procurement team is responsible for sourcing for our new product development. It secures availability, cost, and quality of purchased scope and builds a high-performing supplier portfolio.
Your mission & challenges
You are responsible for project-related procurement for our new product and ensure the availability, cost, and quality of purchased scope.
- Independently sourcing development and series scope (mechanics, electronics, systems)
- Requests for quotation, offer comparison, negotiations, and award decisions
- Building and maintaining a high-performing supplier portfolio together with SQD
- Cost analyses, target costing, and savings initiatives within the project
- Representing procurement on the project team, including schedule and risk management
What we're looking for
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or comparable
- Experience in project/technical procurement, ideally automotive or mechanical engineering
- Negotiation skills and confident presence with suppliers
- Understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- Fluent German and English
