Job description

The Integration Design team owns the overall technical architecture of our robotic products. It defines system requirements, interfaces, and safety concepts across mechanics, electronics, and software, and makes the architecture decisions that shape series readiness.

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES

You own the overall mechanical concept: installation space, structural concept, drive integration, and manufacturability – from the first package to the series design.

  • Developing the overall mechanical concept and space allocation (packaging)
  • Defining mechanical interfaces and integration concepts for drives, electronics, and peripherals
  • Evaluating material, manufacturing, and joining concepts for cost and scalability
  • Leading concept and design reviews with the design teams
  • Close coordination with simulation, industrialization, and procurement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or comparable
  • Several years of experience conceiving complex mechatronic assemblies
  • Confident use of 3D CAD (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks)
  • Good understanding of tolerance management, lightweight design, and design for manufacturing
  • Strong communicator, comfortable making decisions
